One experienced grower, Li Guangdong, runs a large‑scale operation. With his know‑how, a single mu (≈ 0.067 ha) of small‑cabbage in a greenhouse can net about ¥10,000 (roughly $1,400) in profit, and he sells the produce through e‑commerce to markets in Sichuan, Yunnan and beyond.
The village now has nearly 20 major growers. What began with only a few families has expanded to more than 400 mu (≈ 27 ha) of greenhouse space, creating a staggered‑harvest system that smooths supply and sales.
